how to boil the perfect egg
yep, the controversy of it all.
I have heard & read so many darn ways to do it
but I go with the method I grew up watching
and well, they always come out awesome. So I will share.

your desired amount of eggs go into the bottom of a pot.
cover the eggs with cold (unsalted) water just until the eggs are covered.
bring to a boil, turn off heat, cover and let stand for 10 minutes.
uncover & run under cold water until all of the warm water is out.
roll the eggs on counter top, peel and enjoy!

our lunch made with our hard boiled eggs?
egg salad. pickle chips. watermelon & jazz apple chunks.

  5. I am SO glad you posted this... I have ruined many an imperfectly boiled egg in my time. I either boil it too long or not long enough.

The egg salad looks awesome, too!
