  1. Nothing in my lunchbox, or Lily's, is as awesome as any of this. Seriously! Where do you find your ideas, cookie cutters and time to do all of it?!

  2. I wake up every morning 5am, get my butt in the shower and get ready then get her lunch ready in time to wake her up, dressed, fed, teeth brushed and out the door to school. The idea's are just really what her and I come up with day to day. All of her favorite foods and sometimes leftovers we have the night before that she wants for lunch the next day. The shapes I have cookie cutters for are the baby stars, baby hearts, dino's, puzzles and fall like stuff. I do the numbers, big hearts, moons, letters and such by hand with a butter knife.

  3. LOVE THIS! I just found your blog and this awesome post about lunches. I also love the Planet Box you are using. Question: Do you send the main dish warm to school? Just wondering how some of this stays warm or is it just eaten without worry about temp.

  4. aw thanks- check out the others too! everything goes cold, we eat a lot of left overs. all are fully cooked and given to her cold with a really great ice pack we purchased from the company who made the lunch box. they made them for the specfic purpose of food temp worries! before the school year started I tested out tempretures. she eats lunch at 10am so its literally a couple hours after I make it. her food stays perfect at the temp it gets to with the ice pack. nothing ever gets warmed up and sent to school. :)
