I love my munchkins.
and that sums up my mother's day.
The kids and I woke up and tackled
some morning errands
which entitled fruit slicing and lots of kisses.
they reminded me it was mother's day
say oh, every ten minutes?
"you're the best, mom"
"it's mothers day, let's party!"
we went over to my mom's for brunch
around eleven where we exchanged gifts
and ate lots of good food.
Daddy got off work
and we headed to his family's house where
we enjoyed a delicious dinner.
thanks to everyone
for everything.
these are the finished flower holders I made.
one for each my mom, grandma and mother in law.
breakfast bake frittata!
mom made it.
fresh fruit salad
I made a honey lemon dressing to drizzle.
orange cake
with icing!
blueberry, poppy seed
and strawberry muffins!
meet grandma
she's pretty hip.
meet jj.
he's my best friend.
meet sissy and mom.
cool ladies.
this is a remake of a shot
taken when adriana was teeny tiny.
(four generations)
mom & kids.
jj is insanely tall. weird.
mommy and munchkins.
they have my whole heart.
the reason I can even celebrate being a mommy.
and what a lucky mommy I am.
Your kids are so adorable.

ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you enjoyed your Mother's Day. The actual day for me stunk. I ended up doing the usual plus maybe a few more chores - I think I got ripped off, LOL!
